Dr. Susan White graduated with her DDS degree (Summa Cum Laude) from UCLA in 2012. She continued her studies in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology at UCLA, completing her certificate in OMFR in 2014. While a resident, Dr. White was awarded the Albert G. Richards Grant Award and the Centennial Scholarship from the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology. Prior to obtaining her DDS degree, Dr. White received her BS in Planetary Science from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
Dr. White’s areas of interest include obstructive sleep apnea and digital image processing, particularly image segmentation. She has presented and received awards at the national level on the application of computation fluid dynamics to the understanding of obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. White is an active member of the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology, the American Society of Head & Neck Radiology, the Radiological Society of North American, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the ADA, the CDA, and her local dental society.
