Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist
Born and raised in Santa Rosa, California, Dr. Stephanie Yu earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from California Lutheran University and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, she practiced as a general dentist in private practice before earning her certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. Yu's professional accomplishments include receiving the AAOMP Dental Student Award, the AAOMR Best Clinical Poster Award, and serving as Chief Resident during her training at UCLA. She is an active member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and has contributed to the organization through service on the Resident Committee and Continuing Education Committee.
Committed to collaboration and diagnostic excellence, Dr. Yu enjoys partnering with clinicians to help answer clinical questions and provide meaningful imaging insights that support patient care. She is honored to be part of the BeamReaders team and to work alongside colleagues dedicated to advancing the specialty of oral and maxillofacial radiology.
I find it most rewarding to contribute as part of the diagnostic team, providing imaging insights that support diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care. Outside of radiology, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and being kept on my toes by my spunky Shih Tzu, Meelo.
