Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologists
Dr. Naseim Elzakra earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) from the University of Benghazi, Libya, and practiced general dentistry before pursuing advanced training in Restorative Dentistry at UCLA, where she also completed a Master of Science, a PhD in Oral Biology, and a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
Her research focuses on Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaws (MRONJ), and she has co-authored numerous publications in top journals while also contributing to cancer biology research, including a book chapter.
When I am not analyzing scans or reading journals, I enjoy spending time with family, exploring nature, and diving into a good book.
