
Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist, ACBOMR Diplomate

Dr. Mehrnaz Tahmasbi is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Certifying Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 2011 and completed the residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2016. During her residency, Dr. Tahmasbi received the 2016 Howard R. Raper Award, which recognizes a promising graduate student who demonstrates interest in oral and maxillofacial radiology and intends to pursue a career in academia.
Dr. Tahmasbi is active in research, with interests focused on digital radiography, 3D imaging, and computer-aided diagnostic techniques. She is also an active member of several professional organizations, such as the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, American Society of Head and Neck Radiology, and other national and local dental organizations.
