Dr. Mariam Baghdady
Dr. Mariam Baghdady completed her Oral Maxillofacial Radiology (OMFR) residency, Master of Science, and Ph.D. in medical education at the University of Toronto. She completed an advanced medical education fellowship at the University of Toronto’s Wilson Center for Research in Health Professions Education. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
Dr. Baghdady is an Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (OMFR) at Kuwait University and the University of Toronto. She is the head of the OMFR discipline at Kuwait University, where she teaches undergraduate students and heads the oral radiology clinic and advanced imaging consultation service at the Kuwait University Dental Clinics (KUDC). She teaches post-graduate residents at the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialization (KIMS). Dr. Baghdady teaches nationally and internationally on OMFR and medical education topics. She is the author of multiple research projects and a book chapter in the key textbook in the field of Maxillofacial Radiology, “Pharoah and White’s Oral Radiology: Principles and Interpretation”
Dr. Baghdady lives with her husband and three children in Kuwait. She enjoys playing volleyball and basketball, gardening, and embroidery.
