Dr. Kent Thompson
Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist

When not working at radiology, Dr. Thompson enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking, traveling, and movies.
Prior to his dental training at the University of California, San Francisco and subsequent completion of an orthodontic residency at Boston University, Dr. Thompson was a high school math teacher, basketball coach, and track and field coach.
He was then in private orthodontic practice for 17 years in the Sacramento area, after which he was given the privilege of serving as a Lieutenant Colonel for 4 years in the U.S. Air Force as Chief of Orthodontics at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas, treating orthodontic patients and teaching orthodontics to AEGD residents.
Dr. Thompson completed the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology residency at the University of Washington in 2014, and currently reads scans and prepares reports for the doctors referring to Beamreaders.
