Dr. Phillip Wong

Dr. Phillip Wong received his DMD from Roseman University of Health Sciences and completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Florida, with additional degrees in Biochemistry (UC Davis) and Biomedical Sciences (Midwestern University).

Dr. Wong previously served as Director of the Cone Beam Imaging Facility and Radiation Safety Officer at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he led radiation-dose reduction initiatives that decreased patient exposure by more than 90%. He is also a recipient of the Indiana University Trustees’ Teaching Award, recognizing exceptional teaching effectiveness, active learning strategies, and a strong commitment to student success.

In addition to his clinical radiology work, Dr. Wong consults with Academic Health Associates, supporting dental organizations in curriculum design, imaging protocol development, and clinical quality improvement. He is an active member of the AAOMR, ADEA, and IADMFR.

Now based in South Florida, Dr. Wong continues integrating education, innovation, and diagnostic imaging in his work to help clinicians deliver safer, more accurate, and more efficient patient care. Outside of radiology, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, golfing, marathon running, and traveling.
