Dr. Mohammed Husain

Dr. Mohammed Husain is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Section of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the UCLA School of Dentistry.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.  He received his DDS degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2011.  After graduating, he completed a residency program in General Dentistry (AEGD) through the Lutheran Medical Center in San Jose (2012), followed by specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at UCLA (2014).

Dr. Husain lectures on various topics in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, including CBCT imaging and panoramic radiography.  He also has special interests in 3-D printing, root resorption and incidental pathologies found on CBCT imaging.  He has presented nationally on these topics at the annual meetings of the Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (AAOMR). In addition to the AAOMR, Dr. Husain is an active member of a number of professional organizations including the American Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ASHNR), Southern California Academy of Oral Pathology, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and San Fernando Valley Dental Society.
