Understanding the TMJ and Airway: A Radiographic Exploration

BeamReaders is pleased to offer an informative 9 CE hour (two day) course by Dr. Dania Tamimi. The aim of this course is to teach clinicians how to look for radiographic diagnostic clues that may indicate the presence of TMD or Sleep-disordered breathing in their dental patients. Course will be Friday and Sunday, offering participants the ability to engage in self study in between course days if they wish.

  • Review the MRI and CBCT imaging of the TMJ and upper respiratory tract.
  • Familiarize participants with the normal anatomy of the major contributors to TMD and sleep-disordered breathing.
  • Understand the correlation between TMD and airway and how it presents radiographically.
