Dr. Steffy currently resides in Gig Harbor Washington with his wife and 3 children. He enjoys the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, hiking the Olympic rainforest, and boating and fishing the Puget Sound.
Dr. Douglas Steffy
Dr. Steffy is a native of northern California and received his D.D.S. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. Subsequently he completed an AEGD residency at Camp Pendleton, CA, and worked as a general dentist for the United States Navy in California. He completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial radiology from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and was awarded a Masters Degree in Dental Diagnostics. He is a member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, the ADA, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Steffy joined the United States Marine Corps immediately following high school and was trained as a tank mechanic. His military service included two overseas deployments.
Dr. Steffy is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (ABOMR).
