Dr. Solaleh Shahmirzadi
Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist

Dr. Shahmirzadi enjoys cycling, swimming, watching documentaries, reading, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Solaleh Shahmirzadi obtained her D.D.S. from Tehran Azad Dental School. She practiced general dentistry for several years prior to the pursuit of her career in oral and maxillofacial radiology. She then went on to complete a one year preceptorship with the department of Oral
& Maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA). Dr. Shahmirzadi continued her studies at Texas A&M University (TAMU) School of Dentistry where she earned a certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
Dr. Shahmirzadi has presented at numerous national and international conferences. She holds memberships in the AAOMR, RSNA, ASHNR, IADMFR, ADA, TDA, and DCDS. She is a recognized reviewer of peer review journals. Her participation as lead author and co-author on a multitude of scientific articles and book chapters is evidence of her interest in academic research which contributed to her receipt of the prestigious Howard R. Raper Award for 2021 and Radiology Centennial Scholarship Award for 2022 from the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Currently, she is pursuing her master's degree while serving as an adjunct faculty at TAMU Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology program and providing teleradiology reports through BeamReaders.
