Dr. Barghan lives in Florida with her husband and younger daughter, and has another daughter in college. She enjoys cycling, reading, and traveling with her family.
Dr. Sevin Barghan graduated with her DDS degree from Shahid Beheshti Dental School, Tehran, Iran in 2000. She completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology residency in Tehran University of Medical Sciences School of Dentistry and earned a Master of Science degree in 2004. She was formerly a visiting assistant professor at the UCLA School of Dentistry.
Dr. Barghan proceeded to complete her postgraduate specialty certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Following her graduation in 2015, Dr. Barghan joined the faculty as a Clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Certifying Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Dr. Barghan is a lead author and co-author of several peer-reviewed publications.
Dr. Barghan holds membership in the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and American Society of Head and Neck Radiology.
