Dr. Husniye Demirturk Kocasarac
Dr. Demirturk Kocasarac received her D.D.S. and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in oral and maxillofacial radiology in Turkey from Ondokuz Mayis University School of Dentistry. She worked in Turkey as assistant and associate professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
In 2016, she moved to the United States where she started a certificate and Master of Science (MS) degree in oral and maxillofacial radiology in the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA).
She is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (ABOMR). She has over 10 years of experience in teaching and practicing oral and maxillofacial radiology. She has given many presentations at national and international meetings and has authored numerous articles, abstracts and book chapters in national and international journals and books. She is a reviewer and an editorial board member in many national and international journals including Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology and Oral Radiology (OOOO), Dentomaxillofacial Radiology (DMFR), The Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA), Oral Radiology.
Dr. Demirturk Kocasarac received four awards from the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (AAOMR) and one award from UTHSCSA.
