Session Two - Anatomy and Your CBCT Volume

This one hour webinar will help answer the question ‘What am I seeing in my CBCT volume?’ This webinar will focus on making the transition from 2D panoramic to 3D CBCT. Dr Baaklini will review anatomy in both a 2D panoramic x-ray and identify this same anatomy in the three reference planes (axial, sagittal and coronal) in a CBCT volume.

Dr. Nayla Baaklini

DDS, MS

Dr. Baaklini received her Dental Degree in 2010 from Saint Joseph University, School of Dental Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon. She then completed her residency training in Prosthodontics at the same university.  Dr. Baaklini served as a clinical instructor at Saint Joseph University and continued to practice cosmetic dentistry for over 7 years when she discovered her passion for radiology. Dr. Baaklini completed her residency training at the University of Texas Health Science center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA) where she also received a Master of Science. She aims to stay up to date on the latest research and publications in her field and is a member of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
