Dr. Brownlee balances her many passions in life that include playing ukulele, practicing yoga, SCUBA and free diving, disk golf, crocheting, SUPing, biking, canoeing, camping, as well as spending time with her cat, Gâteau, with her professional life of radiographic interpretation and educational presentations. Dr. Brownlee belongs to numerous professional organizations that include the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Professional Disc Golf Association, and is a board member of the Indigenous Dental Association of Canada. Dr. Brownlee is fluent in English and French.

Dr. Meredith Brownlee

Dr. Meredith Brownlee earned her B.Sc. in 1999 from the University of Winnipeg with double majors in Biology and Biochemistry. She then earned her D.M.D. from University of Manitoba in 2004 and practiced general dentistry for 7 years providing dental services primarily in northern and rural Manitoba, prior to finding her passion in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology. Dr. Brownlee undertook her training in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at University of Connecticut, obtaining her Master of Dental Science in 2014. Dr. Brownlee is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

From 2014 to 2020 Dr. Brownlee was the Head of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and an assistant professor in the Dental Diagnostic and Surgical Sciences department of University of Manitoba, where she taught undergraduate dental and dental hygiene students, as well as graduate dental residents. She also ran numerous continuing professional development courses for dentists, dental hygienists, and dental specialists. She now is pursuing a career in private practice Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
