"CBCT is an amazing tool, yet it can be overwhelming. I love that I can bridge the gap between clinical and radiological findings and provide supportive knowledge to clinicians. "

Dr. Lina Albitar

Born and raised in the Midwest, Dr. Albitar received her undergraduate and dental degrees from Marquette University. She practiced dentistry for 10 years and owned her private practice in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her interest in radiology and technology led her to complete a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, in New York.  Additionally, she earned a MS in Biomedical Sciences from Stony Brook with her focus on Artificial Intelligence in detecting unobturated MB2 canals on CBCT images. Passionate about advanced technology, she continues to work with others on using artificial intelligence in dentistry. She is a member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and International Association for Dental Research.
