Dr. Robert Hilton

Dr. Hilton was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He joined the Air Force and completed the 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Andrews Air Force Base. He went on to practice general dentistry for several years and lead the dental laboratory team at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina, where he was recognized as Medical Provider of the Year in 2014. He completed his second residency earning a certificate and Master’s Degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology from the University of North Carolina. He was presented with the Radiology Centennial Award from the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.

Dr. Hilton went on to practice and teach radiology at the Air Force Postgraduate Dental School as an assistant professor. He also served as the Director of Cone Beam Education and Training, teaching CBCT courses to hundreds of military dentists and residents around the world. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
